Alarm or timer until a specific time?
If you need an alert at a clock time such as 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM, use the Alarm Clock. If you need an alert after a duration such as 20 minutes or 2 hours, use the Online Timer. This distinction is useful when people search for phrases such as “set a timer until 7 AM” but actually need an alarm at 7:00 AM.
What happens after browser suspension?
If a browser tab or device is suspended, JavaScript timers can pause. Terbit Clock rechecks the saved target immediately when the page becomes visible, focused or restored. If the alarm became due during the pause, the alarm can ring when the browser resumes instead of silently rolling forward to the next day.
